Yesterday afternoon we heard we’d get 4-6 inches of snow today.
Last night we heard 6-8 inches of snow.
Kiefer: Since the snow won’t start until mid morning, you may end up going to school but getting released early. So be ready.
Boo: Everybody wear their pajamas inside out tonight. That will guarantee no school or work tomorrow.
So…
- Boo wore his pjs inside out.
- Radley wore his pjs inside out.
- Kiefer wore his pjs inside out.
Guess who fell sleep wearing their pajamas right side out.
Guess who the only person is who didn’t get out of school or work today.

Maybe if I try that tonight we’ll actually get winter over with before March?

Only if all of Thoughtsy’s readers to it 😉

Not that this will make you feel better at all, but everyone is sitting at home while I’M at work as well. And I have to go to court. So . . . I’m right there with you, girl. Sucks, yes?

Please tell me you go to go home early?

I sense a (right-side out) cover up. Tell me something, Thoughtsy: was your pantry low on Pop-Tarts? Was there perhaps a teensy-tiny freak out that you’d be stranded without strawberry frosted? Hmmm?

P-lease. I have plenty of Pop-Tarts. You made the job switch just in time to take advantage of snow days!

Thanks for the selection!
There must be something to that superstition.
It is gorgeous here in Colorado, but snow is on the way. I can’t wait!!!

I only wear my PJs inside out if they need washed. It’s for America.

I have never heard of that rule for ensuring snow days! Although, I have never in my life had a snow day. It will make me sound like one of those crabby old men, but in my day, you went to school regardless of how much snow there is on the ground. Canadians ARE winter.

Sometimes when schools close, I’m like “Really? For this?” But I never complain because I love days off.

I like your pj theory… though at most it might bring a rain day here in Aus…

I wonder what happens if you don’t wear any pajamas?

Never again will you doubt Boo the Snow Prophet.

I am here to testify that if you shovel when you think the snow is slowing down, you’re guaranteed to get at least 6 more inches.
January 22nd, 2014 at 7:45 am
Been there. Boo and Radley almost learned that yesterday but we told them to wait and shovel today instead.

Dang Boo and his pajama prophecies!

Haha I’ve never heard that rule before but now I will have to try it! But this winter had been really mild here, no snow to test it out 😦
