So we I decided on purple, blue, and green for the baby’s nursery. And butterflies. And fairies.
It was an easy decision since I’ve been hoping for a baby girl for…well…ever.
Then I decided this little baby would need to be introduced to our family’s love for Halloween early. Really early.
So I may or may not be collecting these dolls for the baby’s nursery….

Zombie Princesses!
It’s my way of breaking stereotypes when baby girl arrives.
Disney Princesses? So overdone.
Zombie Disney Princesses? Awesome!
Once Upon a Zombie Creators, If you’re reading this, please make a zombie Tinkerbell. P–p-p-p-lease….

Those were my daughter’s room colors exactly, also with butterflies and some other bug looking critters. She’s 10 now and just amazing, so those colors shouldn’t screw her up in the head like some supposedly do. And my daughter has never had any interest in anything girly. I’ve never been to a tea party, she hates dresses and would rather be Iron Man than a princess for Halloween every time. Have fun!

You, Bluz and me need to have our own sitcom . . . stat.
Those are some bold color choices for a little girl! No pink? Purple, blue and green could totally be for a boy’s room. You ARE breaking stereotypes! Rock on, momma.

I’m in. We could call it Misty Blue Thoughts!

You could get your belly painted like a zombie baby is falling out…her first Hallowe’en costume (and the subsequent photos should be enough to alert her that she is a child of destiny.)

I can’t even explain how badly I want those dolls. And it’s never too early for zombie introductions. My son had Walking Dead action figures when he was three.

Very cool!

It’s never too soon to introduce zombies if they’re as cute as those ones!

Will Sno-balls and Twinkies also be part of the introduction?

It’s never too soon. My daughter got a book for Christmas when she was 6 months old called, “The Very Hungry Zombie.” (Think “The Very Hungry Caterpillar) She loves it! Besides, when the zombie apocalypse comes, you’ll want the baby to pull her own weight.

I need that book!

Well, babies have a lot more in common with zombies than they do with Disney princesses so I think you’re really just creating a welcoming environment for your little darling.

It is never too early to start teaching about the undead. And I hear braaaaaaains are great for teething.

Being a zombie princess isn’t all bad. I mean, sure, your flesh is rotting and you’re on an all-brain diet, but at least your hair is perfect.

Ooh, I’d love me a Zombie Tinkerbell! She’s my favorite Disney character. But definitely introduce your little one to the “dark” side of Disney. Might as well learn early on, life’s not all pixie dust and lollipops!

We are tickled whenever D wants to play zombies. He still mixes up some of their key features with ghosts, but whatevs. We won’t penalize him for these mistakes until he’s at least six!
😉
Seriously, if we end up with a girl? I could see A being on board with a zombie princess theme. (Actually, probably the same for another boy . . .)
